Waterproofing for a Good Cause – Holmes County, OH

As its mission, Holmes County Community Housing provides subsidized safe and comfortable dwelling spaces for members of our community who might not otherwise be able to afford it.

One of their residential homes has a basement walkout that was being used as a bedroom. However, it was being compromised by heavy water intrusion, leading to mold and mildew issues that were making it unlivable.

They called Eco-Seal for help in hiring a mold remediation company; we were glad to provide a recommendation. But when that work was done, HCCH found that they didn’t have adequate funds to complete the waterproofing job to ensure it didn’t happen again.

We were so impressed with their mission and the way they help others that we completed the job at a discounted rate, offering back to them the good they offer to others. Now, the basement is once again livable and someone has a roof over their head!

Jesse’s New Home Woes – Akron, OH

When Jesse and Chelsea were preparing to purchase their new home near Akron, they scheduled a standard home inspection, which didn’t reveal any issues. Jeremy, a photographer who captures images for our website and some of our other marketing materials, has slowly been getting an education about all that Eco-Seal has to offer: waterproofing, foundation repair, french drains, basement exits and windows, and more. As he was doing some renovations to his home in Canton, getting ready to put it on the market, Jeremy noticed water along the basement wall at the front of his home.
