When Rick decided to build a new home, he entered into an agreement to sell his old home in Atwater to his son. But he needed to fix the basement walls first.

It was a bad situation; he was afraid the walls might collapse and so he called Eco-Seal repeatedly, noting how urgent the job was. A project manager was on the scene quickly, suggesting basement braces, but Rick was willing to undertake an even more drastic solution – creating an entire new basement under that wing of the house to remedy the shoddy work that had been done by a builder before, one whom Rick had to dismiss before the job was even finished.

Eco-Seal came to the rescue – jacking up the entire house, tearing out and rebuilding foundation walls, setting the house back down, and then regrading the surrounding area. The result? A solid foundation and a new, dry basement.

When Jesse and Chelsea were preparing to purchase their new home near Akron, they scheduled a standard home inspection, which didn’t reveal any issues. Unfortunately, when they moved in it became clear that there had been leaks in the basement, which the previous owners had tried unsuccessfully to remedy with DRYLOK and then covered up with lots of boxes.

Jason purchased the home that he grew up in from his parents, knowing that they had been having water issues for years, but also knowing that he wanted to stop the problem. His hope was to finish the basement and add living space to the home, so he needed to get it remedied.

Andy did the good turn of purchasing a house for his daughter, but soon found that there were some issues. At the back of the house, there was a large hill that was exerting pressure on the foundation and pushing it in about six inches, rendering the structure unstable.

Sometimes the solution to your problems is right under your nose. Jeremy, a photographer who captures images for our website and some of our other marketing materials, has slowly been getting an education about all that Eco-Seal has to offer: waterproofing, foundation repair, french drains, basement exits and windows, and more. As he was doing some renovations to his home in Canton, getting ready to put it on the market, Jeremy noticed water along the basement wall at the front of his home. Thankfully, he knew exactly who to call, and our Eco-Seal team was quickly on the scene.
